If you are a person who likes toQuite BrightBiology
If you are a person who likes to be robbed and mugged then this is the university for you. Robberies are the only predictable thing about this campus. This university is also a great campus to attend if you want your car stolen. It is alright though if you get your car stolen because you can't park it on campus because of the constant construction that is going on. This school feels that constantly upgrading facilities will make the school better. What they don't realize is that they have the same shitty faculty teaching. I know foreign people are smart but they can't teach. You can't have a chinese guy who speaks broken english teach an upperlevel biochemistry course. This school also doesn't give a shit about its students. They have raised tuition + room and Board from $18,000 when I got here to $22,500 now. They raised the tuition but I didn't see anything getting better on campus. This school is not worth the money. Highschool students that come to visit the campus in the spring are tricked. This university plans all its construction to be done by the spring so when highschool seniors come to visit they don't see giant cranes and pickup trucks and they don't have to take detours all the way around buildings. If you really want to see what the campus looks like come in the late fall and winter. also every year this campus boasts how smart the incoming freshmen are but when you look around campus all you see are thugs and rap stars. Because this school prides itself on diversity they let in any instate minority that applies. This is great for diversity but these people are just not doing anything for the academic quality of this school. The minorities are the reason why UMD has a six year graduation rate of 63%. How the fuck can you not graduate in 6 years. UNC chapel Hill has less minorities and a six year graduation rate of 86%. If you are a minority this is a great place to go because you can basically do whatever you want. Every weekend activity that the school holds is geared towards minorities. If you are white go to a better school where you would get your moneys worth.

Question
UM offers a vast academic menu plus cocurricularQuite BrightBiology
UM offers a vast academic menu plus cocurricular opportunities abound and are easy to get involved in outside of class.

I've experienced excellent academic advising and guidance. Professors and teaching assistants are very approachable.

UM College Park Honors Program is listed among the top nine honors programs at state universitities in the nation. The program offers students the personal attention and class size of a small college and the diversity and opportunity of a large research university. Also, the scholars living/learning program is being used as a model for other programs throughout the county. The average SAT score of entering Honors students is over 1400; the average GPA is 4.1. There are 700 students in each entering Honors class, which is about the entering class size at John Hopkins University.

Being an Honors student is a privilege and a challenge. We are not considered geeks. The food is okay with lots of variety. If you're not into sports, there's always a couple plays, shows, etc., to choose from on the weekends--at reduced student prices.

Question
Maryland architecture school was a complete waste ofQuite BrightArchitecture
Maryland architecture school was a complete waste of money and time....simply an awful school led by stuck up charlatan professors with little to no building experience who love teaching outdated rhetoric about greek and roman temples. This is the limit of their knowledge. The faculty is a low level collection of 3rd rate post modern architects who haven't even built anything worth noting in their entire lives.

Brian Kelly is a complete joke of an architect. A sniveling worm with a napoleonic complex which is rivaled only by his lack of talent and his pseudo-intellectual eye-glasses.

Maryland architecture is a total joke. The condescending smug faculty is a joke. They have all the arrogance and none of the talent.

Notice how much talent they put out in the professional architectural world.....none.Avoid maryland's garbage architecture "program" and head to a real institute of learning.
