The college was something of a help for me, but not all that much (in terms of technical training). However, that was not due to a fault of the college… I learned the trade early and really only went to college as a formality, to acquire the degree. From what I see, their CS department is improving, but still has a ways to go. Unfortunately, with PCC's emphasis on non-technical degrees (with the exception of nursing, and possibly engineering,) it will very likely always be a bit behind secular schools.

I went to PCC "cold-turkey", with no prior visits, and t was pretty much what I expected. I never had a problem with most of the rules… If you want a TV in your dorm, unlimited private Internet access, allowed male-female contact, and other such minor things (most of which a good

Christian school is obviously better without), PLEASE don't waste four years of your life and four years worth of tuition just sitting on campus wishing you had it. GO GET

IT—somewhere else.

Lack of accreditation wasn't an issue for me. In my mind, and that of many others, accreditation = compromise. If you want an accredited college, look elsewhere. There's no use complaing about PCC's lack of it; if you value it, don't attend.

What was good about the school? The facilities were excellent, the educational quality was great, and there was much CLEAN fun to be had. I met a lot of friends of lik mind who also wanted to serve God. I was exposed to good preaching, and sheltered from a lot of things that could have ruined my life. No, it's not perfect, but no place is.

I feel the school would be better were there a few very minor changes, but there's no real reason for me to even list them since they aren't that important… you'll have your own opinion on what the flaws are should you attend, as you would anywhere else.

I would recommend it, provided you've prayed and felt the

Lord leading you there. After all, that's probably the only real point that matters, isn't it?
