UW is an awesome place to go to school. I came from the Bay Area because it was easier to get into then the UC's. The party scene here is good. There are some nerds here but they are all in the engineering and math. Classes are pretty easy here. Lots of multiple choice tests but you can find copies of old tests if you know where to look. The professors are alright. More importantly is that Husky games are awesome! Everyone is all about the DAWGS on saturdays in the fall. We turn up every weekend but especially in the fall and winter (during basketball season). Dorms aren't the best but it gets better when you move off campus and don't have the ra's on your back. I almost went to Chico State in California but Seattle is a much better city and I'm really glad I came here. Go Dawgs!

You sound like an idiot. Not a great representation for UW.

Obviously not a UW student. Probably rejected at Chico State. Of the UC schools, UW is only "easier" to get into than UCB and UCLA. UW admissions criteria (GPA, SAT and ACT) are slightly lower than UCLA and range from slightly higher to significantly higher than the other UC schools.

UW is still pretty easy to get into, especially if you are coming from out of state. I met a lot of kids of average intelligence in my time at UW.
