Co-op, Dialogues and other international opportunities, as well as the ability to decide what you want to do when you want to do it, are enough reasons to love Northeastern. Yes, like all administrative structures, there is a shuffle when you need to do something or simply want to, and you might be met with obstacles. However, if you are motivated enough, the right support is available and it is certainly possible to do all you want to get the most out of your education here.

questionHey there… i did read your comment but i had one small doubt about the co-op program.

Does the co-op program give us the real world experience and get to work with higher level managers…or do we get the work that is at small level…like the clerk work…you know what i mean. and if we do this co-op program does it take 4 years or 5 years to complete the under graduation with the study on campus and co-op included. if you could help me with that.

responseIt can be. You have the opportunity to pick between a variety of job opportunities and like in any situation, you will want to do previous research on the position before taking it. As you do your 2nd and 3rd coops, you get higher level positions, accordingly with experience. I have worked directly with CEOs in some cases and with program supervisors in others, it really depends on the job. I very strongly recommend it however, it is invaluable and allows you to go to college while applying real world knowledge to your classes, and vice versa. If you do 3 coops (highly recommend), you do 5 years. Otherwise you can do 4 years.
