Don't come to Marymount if you want the traditional college experience. There are no sports teams, quads, frats, or anything like that. The campus and student body are small, and it may not be right for everyone, but very right for others. My experience here as been different from that of my friends who attended larger, suburban universities, but certainly not worse. For me, Marymount allows me to live independently in the city whilst still going to school. I feel more prepared for life after graduation because I am already apart of the New York community and have experience working in the New York work force as well as working with my professors who are still actively pursuing careers of their own. I am not sure I can say the same from my friends who go to a more traditional college.
