My parents paid for my education so I was lucky. My girlfriend wasn't so lucky and now she has about $100k in debt and can't get a job because the job market for teachers is so bad these days. There's no way I would have gone to school at all if I had to pay for it, it's simply not worth the time or money. $100k for a state school? That's criminal. And Rowan isn't even near a Penn State or U of Maryland or anything like that. Rowan spends all of its money on flashy stuff like gardens and fancy new dorms, it seems like nothing ever actually improves education wise. And the University president is paid an insane 3/4 of a million dollars a year. The kids they graduate from Rowan are just sad, some of them can't do the most basic of math or reading. I can't say enough bad things about Rowan. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

I'm sorry but I wouldn't blame Rowan because your girlfriend decided it would be a wise decision to take out 100k for a teaching degree and there are no teaching jobs to be had. I don't even understand how she took out 100k at rowan. The school is about, well now 25k a year, and the previous years it was 20k including room and board. So for four years thats about 80k. Unless of course she's out of state. I'm just basing this off of what you've said I admit that lately Rowan hasn't been wise about the way they are spending their money but our education is pretty good for the money. It's not Rowan's fault either if students don't have a good foundation of math or reading skills. That's based on what they've learned previously before college.
