I had a great experience completing my BBA-Management at Walsh College. From the moment I walked in the door I knew that Walsh was the place for me. Other schools that I considered had long lines and I felt like just another number even during my initial academic advising appointments. The faculty were friendly, realistic and provided great advice throughout my two years with them. Depending on the course, most classes were challenging and required you to do your homework and stay current with readings in order to maintain high marks. I was initially concerned about going to a small college, especially with so many other colleges and universities in the surrounding area. Reputation was a big concern for me, however the more you learn about Walsh the more you realize what a treasure and rarity you found when you start attending the school. For those that know of Walsh, they typically assosicate it with being a good local college. Some believe that U of M, Wayne State and Eastern are the only way to go. It's no doubt that Walsh graduates are successful in their careers because most of them already have some work experience and are working adults with families or in their early twenties. The Walsh students in my classes were those that were working on establishing a career while completing their education at the same time—which is no easy task. For those of you wondering, I would not associate Walsh with Baker College, University of Pheonix, Davenport Universtity, etc. Walsh has been around since 1922 and focuses on ensuring that it's students graduate being ready to walk into the boardroom.

I would recommend keeping Walsh College as an option when deciding on a college to attend.
