I looked at this website before I enrolled and during just to remind myself why people may have liked or disliked the school. Personally, I love this school. Yes, this school is not easy, but at the end of the semester I'm coming out with 50+ credits completed, and right now I have a 4.0. The tets are not THAT hard, but they can be. The academic rigor is really not for everyone. I find that most people do poorly because they coasted through high school (since in the first place their high school wasn't that hard..where mine was quite brutal at times).

Social life is what you make of it. Most people here aren't the party type, so the just hang around their dorms. There is no pressure to party hard or join a frat or sorority. I made friends in frats/sororities..people who are very nerdy..and people in between. Everyone is mostly nice, but again, like very school, there will be not that nice people.

People are mostly friendly. It's easy to strike a conversation with most people. I came to the school knowing no one and I already established a close group of friends in the first few weeks of school. The ratio thing shouldn't bother you. First, most girls are not ugly. I don't know where that thought came from. A lot of the girls here are nice, and so are the boys. People say that most of your friends will be guys. Not true. Half my friends are guys, the other half are girls.

The dorms are not that great, and neither is the food, but whatever. You just need a place to sleep anyway and you can choose to take a meal plan where you avoid the dining hall food as much as possible.

So overall, I love this school. I work hard and it pays of. I have a lot of good friends here and I'm well involved in the extracurriculars offered on campus. There are days where you want to pull your hair out, but come on, its a good school. You need to work hard. However, this school is not for everyone. If you coasted through high school and got a 4.0, that may not necessarily mean you're smart, so don't assume you'll do just as well here. Most people lose their 4.0 after their first semester. I only know a few who still have it. Life here is what you make it.
