I think that many people who have negative comments come to MMC and think it is going to be a regular college campus experience. If you decide to come to school here you need to understand that the school is in the middle of New York City so your college experience will be different.Being in the auditioned musical theatre program I have a built in group of friends. Some of my roommates came to MMC and really did not know how to make friends therefore they are unhappy with their choice to come here. I think it is harder to have a social life if you do not find your group of friends early here at the school.Living in the dorms is not great. They are expensive and they give you no privacy, but after the first year I plan to move out with friends. If you want great theatre training and want to live in NYC then this could be the place for you.
