Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
This was the second of three colleges I attended (after graduating with a now almost useless degree from a large state university, and I am currently in grad school at another college). Rowan was definitely the best of the three. I read the negative comments about Rowan and they only make me laugh. First of all, the education I received was excellent - I felt like I learned a lot, and the coursework wasn't a breeze, yet it wasn't too hard either. There is plenty of parking with multiple lots to choose from, so there is absolutely no excuse for getting a ticket. In fact, I never once received a ticket. Professors are always available and treat you like a human being, not a number. The campus itself isn't so bad and actually looks like a real college (unlike my first university, which I am psychologically blocking from my memory). Students seem pretty normal and aren't stuck up (but look out for the one or two snobby blonde girls who I didn't really care for - I guess every class has a few). I guess it's true that there isn't much to do in the area, but you should go to Rowan for the education, not to party. If I could turn back time, I would have just chosen to attend Rowan, and I would do it all over again. Don't go to Cornell, Duke, Georgetown, or what have you…choose Rowan!
