USC has been a great experience so far, the academics are pretty good for most departments, the people are nice, and the weather is nearly perfect year round.The main social outlet here is greek life, but there are many alternatives out there if you're not into that. If you decide to apply, make sure you do before the scholarship deadline they give lots of scholarship money to qualified students
