University of Washington is a big research university. However, this doesn't mean that education is not personal. It is dependent upon you to learn and grow as a person. It teaches you how to be an adult. The undergraduate program has a liberal arts feel to it. Some of my classes have been really big (180 people) others have really small (18 people). I would definitely recommend this school. It has great school spirit and tons of things to do. You can never be bored here. The greek row is always partying and having social gatherings. They are all nice people except for some of the sorority girls, they are a bit snobby. Overall, UW is ranked 16th in the world and is a great school. GO DAWGS!!!!!
