 Don't give up. Do the best you can for the remainder of the semester and try your best. At least try to finish as strong as you can. If UMaryland is not for you, then there are many other options out there. I know, I attended 5 schools in pursuit of my undergraduate degree. I was never really happy with any of my schools, partly because my father partly dictated my decisions regarding colleges, but I can say that things did improve at the very end. Just don't give up. |

Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I am at UMD and I am having a really difficult time with it. The students are unfriendly and the teachers are cold. The work is okay, but I need so much more from a school than academics. I came here thinking it would be amazing but I was severly dissapointed. Maybe its just too big of a university for me. If you come here you need to make sure you have a strong group of friends that you can rely on. I came not knowing many people and got completely lost in the crowd. The teachers suck big time. They don't know how to teach and are never available to answer questions. The only way to pass is to teach yourself everything.
