Kettering University itself is a great school. You have the ability/opportunity to do many things, learn alot, get alot of experience… It isn't always easily presented, but nor is real life. The co-op job is absolutely Key. You can do/learn/prepare for so much with that, and its hard to do that anywhere else. The school is hard, and you often have to make the effort yourself to learn and get things done, but that's so you do things yourself, rather than being spoon fed like you often see at large university's where your herded along through the system like a bunch of cattle.

Yes, the admin sucks, they don't listen to the student body and they think they're superior… I have a good feeling that this will change soon though. And it doesn't have an immediate impact on your education either, It's not like they are changing the circulum of your thermodynamics class or anything. They just come across (and probably are) stuck-up.

Yes, Flint isn't the greatest either, but like all city's in the U.S… it has its good and its bad places. As long as your not ignorant and careless, nothing will happen to you.

The student body is great. Every one has a sort of comradery/pride, and there are some really smart people and excellent opportunitys for networking to help your career. How many other schools can you go to where you have a great chance of working with almost every student there in one way or another in the life of your career?

I would without a doubt go to Kettering again if I had the choice. It provides opportunity's no one else can even come close to matching, you just have to put for the effort, just like the real world.
