Penn has honestly changed my life; I truly believe anyone could find their niche here if they tried. The professors, especially the ones in the humanities are absolutely amazing, accessible, and completely qualified. The average Penn student is very diverse, belongs to several clubs and activities, and has a wide range of talents and interests. Of course there are your typical east coast and rich snobs, and Penn does have the rep as being the but I would still say that that isn't the majority of the people here. I would still say that it is an incredibly diverse and open minded school. People definitely air on the liberal scene here. The only thing I can really say as far as negative aspects is that the University doesn't guarantee housing past sophomore year, which can make things stressful. All in all, I highly recommend Penn to an open minded individual who wants an amazing educational experience, who is social, fun-loving, and not afraid to live in Philly and try new things.
