Overall, it's a good focused education, a lot of big name companies come to RPI looking for interns/employees.If you're looking to be well-rounded, this isn't the place for you. Although they increased tuition this year, they "couldn't afford" to continue teaching foreign language and some other H&SS classes. Often times the graduate TAs don't speak English very well (and they are the ones who have office hours/tutor time). Professors are often very busy doing research. If you don't do research, you get paid less… So while a lot of professors are great, they don't have time to do what they're meant to do - teach.
