Work hard. The hardest thing for me to do at U of I was to find my niche. But once I did, I became happier and mores satisfied with my education. And keep in mind, education doesn't just mean academics, it also means the experiences you have after joining extracurriculars or other projects outside of academics. You need to be well-rounded in the real world and a large university like the University of Illinois can and will provided you with all the opportunities you need. But it will be up to you to reach out and take them.
