Hey, what do you mean by typical ? |
Major: Perfomance Arts (This Major's Salary over time)
Most people who are against the school are people who wanted to get into the Theatre department or Dance department and were rejected but still came to the school. If you are not coming to Marymount for Theatre Arts or Dance, seriously think about why you want to go to MMC. The school is completely dominated by those majors and many other majors feel out of place. Dont go to Marymount if you just want to go to school in the city. The school is GREAT for technical theatre. The program and opportunities are unlike other schools. Dont just sit back, get involved. The more you do, the more you learn. People in the theatre industry know Marymount and have a high level of respect for Marymount graduate. Professors are working professionals from the field and are well known. The school population is growing tremendously and they do not have the space for all the students. Expect to eat your lunch or study while sitting on the floor of some hallway because there is no other space. Dorm your first year, but get an apartment your sophomore, junior, and senior years. It is much cheaper! Also, do not expect to have a typical college experience.
