Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
I hate this school. I've been here for a semester and I cannot wait to leave. The professors are okay in certain subjects and can actually be fun and helpful but in others such as in the mathematics department, they are arrogant and terrible educators. I'm doing extremely well in this school because nothing is a challenge. It appears as though they make it this way so that the dance and theatre majors can succeed academically. The singing of showtunes and men in tights and makeup get really annoying really fast. Living with 4 other girls in a dorm is not all that fun especially if only one of them is nice. The city is expensive to go out in though really fun if you meet some nice people and go exploring, but other than that it can be very lonely. The school is 70% girls and 30% boys out of which 25% are gay. There is also no real name or reputation that goes along with the school. It's not something that really stands out on your resume. The library is a terrible resource, there are no works of fiction and the books are few. Basically, if you want to go someplace fulfilling especially if you're not a dance or theatre major, Marymount is not that place. Everytime I see people taking tours of the school I want to take them into a corner and beat some sense into them. Don't come here.
