All in all I really liked MSU. My experiences here have been exactly what I thought it would be. MSU definitely provides the typical University experience. East Lansing (the city MSU is located), though not a booming metropolis, is really picture-esque and student oriented. There are plenty of things to do at MSU from bars, to restaurants, to organizations and student groups, to free newly released movies on campus for residents. The campus is absolutely beautiful (especially in the fall) and all the buildings and etc. are always well maintained. Football season is amazing as well. Sitting in the stands with thousands of other students all cheering on MSU is a feeling like no other. The education MSU provides is pretty fantastic as well. I have a high GPA and didn't really think I was getting all that much from my classes, but when I was asked this summer if I thought I have received a good education from MSU I was surprised to conclude that yes, I have received a great one. I know it sounds really boring and lame but all those cultural and diversity development classes really add up and give you an informed world outlook. Recommended. Go Spartans!
