I think NSU is a wonderful university. I've never had problems with the administrative staff or any other employee. They were all very cordial and organized. And that's one of the reasons why I chose this school over FAU and FIU, where I encountered the rudest and most disorganized admnistrative staff (PS: I'm not speaking against their academics though). I was also accepted at UM but the financial aid package NSU offered me was much larger, and I decided to graduate debt free instead of becoming a slave to massive student loans. If you're considering attending NSU, there are a few things you should take into consideration: The undergraduate program is fairly young. The school has larger and more established graduate programs. This can either be positive or negative depending on what you're looking for. If you want a party school, a large (undergrad) student body, several majors and minors to "play with" and are not really interested in attending grad school, this place may not be your best choice. On the other hand, if you're looking for small classes that are taught by real professors instead of TAs, this will be the perfect choice. The honors classes in particular can be composed of as few as seven students. Yes, it is harder to get an A+ in a small class where the teacher is closely evaluating your progress, where you can't skip class, and where you will eventually be called by name to answer questions in front of everyone. However, the hard work pays off! The whole purpose of attending college is for you to gain a meaningful education. The facilities at the school are great as well. The university center cost $83 million to build and has everything you need to get in shape! The residence halls are by far better than any other school I've seen, and the graduate student body definitely has some of the hottest guys on campus.. ;)
