Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
I LOVED my experience at Rowan, but maybe for the wrong reasons. I joined a sorority and I admit that the vast majority of the social scene revolves around greek life. However, if you're on the inside of it, it's great! There are 2 good bars (Landmark and Main St.) in walking distance and there was never a lack of things to do because you are living with your friends 24/7!In terms of scholastics, my review goes a bit downhill. I have a B.A. in psychology, and it has gotten me nowhere. I am not pursuing higher education in this field, nor am I interested in low paying social work which seems to be all that my degree affords me. Or being a secretary somewhere… not exciting. The courses were challenging but in the end I feel like what I learned hasn't stuck with me. I don't regret my experiences there because 90% of what I learned wasn't academic and it shaped me personally, but I am definitely struggling in the job department now.
