This is a very good school, the best SUNY easily, especially those looking for a LAC-type setting. The administration is currently desperately trying to increase the school's reputation and hoping to earn the official designation of "SUNY Honors College," so admissions are becoming more and more competitive, and the school just completed a massive new science facility. The campus is very nice and they are currently in works of expanding it. The town is pretty empty and the frat scene is a bit of a joke, but there are enough cool, laid-back people that most individuals will be able to find plenty of fun. Overall this school is still is towards the tail end of the transition from a random party state school to an upper tier liberal arts school. It still has a little way to go, but a degree from this school will only become more valuable and recognizable over time, and I'm very confident in the education I've recieved so far.
