Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
As the largest university in the country, ASU has a huge variety of resources available. There really is something for everyone here. That being said, as a humanities major, I am appauled by the fact that ASU is shunting its humanities aside in favor of pre-professional programs. Michael Crow is interested in funding a very specific type of education- the type that feeds money back into the school. Programs like business and engineering get more funding and more resources than English or philosophy programs. Another major annoyance is that ASU is moving some majors away from the main campus. If you are looking for the full college experience, DO NOT enroll at any campus except for Tempe. Greek life here is not as strong as it is at some schools because of university restrictions, but it is still a great experience that I would encourage people to try. The best sororities are 1- Delta Zeta, 2- Theta, 3- Alpha Phi, 4- Pi Phi, 5- AXO and 6- Chi Omega… Kappa Kappa Gamma is dying, KD and ADPI have very nice girls, but are not really the strongest houses. Of the fraternities, I would recommend 1- Kappa Sigma, 2- Sigma Pi, 3- Sigma Nu, 4- Sigma Chi, 5- Delta Sig, 6- TKE.
