Date: Dec 31 1969 Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time) York College is a very miserable college, and as such, a haven for mediocrity. For every interesting and truly educational class here, there is a counter one that's totally lacking and outright dull. The college has seen two alcohol-related (one inside a campus dorm, Laurel Hall) deaths within the past year, and has done little to address the issue. Most of the people here can be very pompous and arrogant, despite the occasional friendly student here and there. Professors here can't teach, despite the ideal small class sizes. The college caters to its commuters and generally shuns residents, so heaven forbid you live on the campus. The food is awful and the main dining hall is managed by a mostly mentally handicapped (I'm not lying) staff. Aside this, anybody with the intellect of a peanut can gain admission here, and it shows. These aren't bright kids, just run of the mill nobodies who did average in high school. Social life is reduced to petty drinking, as there's nothing else to do on its campus aside getting drunk. The security here, while present, is more annoying than helpful. Please, reconsider and choose a far better Pennslyvania school, don't fall into York's trap of pretty brochures and lies. This place is a cesspool.
