Pensacola Christian College offers the best value in liberal arts education based upon a Christian worldview. In the 1990's, tuition, room, and board were under $5K per year. A decade later, it is still under $6K. One thing that you might want to consider is accreditation. PCC has not sought it. This issue might present some obstacles, if not roadblocks, in the job-hunt or graduate pursuits. However, the college has an office of Institutional Relations that assists students in attesting to the academic excellence of the school's programs. I know many PCC graduates who have continued their education in reputable schools of law and medicine. Graduates of the Criminal Justice program have found jobs with the Secret Service and FBI. The lack of accreditation may present an initial problem for you, but you can likely overcome that problem. The school demands strict adherence to basic rules and regulations, but many of us who have been reared in dedicated Christian homes find fewer restrictions at college than we experienced in High School. Most, if not all of the rules, assist in the maintenance of a vibrant Christian testimony or they help maintain order on a campus where more than 4,000 students live together. If you do not come from a high-disciplinary environment, buckle your seat belt, but do not let the rules scare you away. They may help you become a better person.
