Date: Dec 31 1969 Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time) When I first came here, it looked very quaint and scenic and despite the long drive from my hometown, it started out good. However it slowly went downhill as I realized the campus is generally a cesspool of lackluster education. The only redeemable major here in my opinion is for it's Nurses. Unless you're a Nurse, there's no reason you should come here. It's a run of the mill liberal arts college chock full of kids with generally low intellects. That's not to say a few respectable experts in their fields don't teach here, you just get more idiot professors who vomit facts or pile on busywork. This place is TRANSFER City, and I know more then a handful of friends who have either left or been kicked out. For the most part, the people are nice and students are kind but this is nothing special. The surrounding city of York is terrible and there's numerous crimes. Drinking is rampant as it's the only thing to do. It does have a new sport/fitness center complete with olympic sized pool, basketball court, rockwall, and workout equipment. Sadly, it's half a mile away and if you lack a car, have fun walking to it. The old gym is now a crumbling mess of a building that is being reworked into a new social sciences center and theatre. That equals plenty of dangerous trucks moving in and out of the construction lot which intersects a major walking path. Accident ahoy.. Anyway, get your degree elsewhere. Maybe in 10 years when the college becomes a university, it might be worthwhile but for now, it's crap. They've dropped their SAT scores so they'll get an influx of idiots to fatten their wallets. It might make the school better in the longrun, but don't be apart of it now.Oh well, I hate the place. Unless you're a nurse, stay far far away.
