Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
I went to a snobby prep school for high school, and knew from the beggining that I wanted to go to college with more "normal", middle class kids like myself. In that way, Temple is perfect for me. I'm a journalism major and was also very attracted to Temple's good journalism program. The student's are generally very friendly, most of the classes are surprisingly small, and the teachers are generally helpful. At times you do feel as if you are only a number, but that's to be expected at a large university. I would highly recommend living on campus freshman year. After freshman year I moved off campus, and the social scene has become incresingly distant. All of my good friends from Temple are from my freshman year.
