Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
I'll be graduating next Spring and I have a few things to say about Penn:First, the workload at Penn varies greatly. If you are taking hard sciences you can expect a hell of a lot of work (as with any decent school). If you are taking History or something, you'll have less work and less classes (engineering majors need 40 classes, science majors need 35 classes to graduate, history only 32). But in pretty much any class you're sitting with a bunch of type-A personalities that will work their asses off in private all the while telling you they actually were partying. Almost all classes are cutthroat in the grades department. Socially, it's probably one of the best "academic" party schools in the nation. To be honest, you'll fit in better if you are into the frat-set, but pretty much anyone can find their niche. I chill with my frat brothers a lot and you can tear it up either on campus or take the subway into center city and hit the clubs. Overall, my experiences at Penn have been decent. I'm happy with my decision to come here and I'm sure my Penn education will lead me to do well in grad school and the work force.
