Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
UMD just celebrated its 150th year since being founded as an Agricultural College. It's located in College Park, Maryland (not always the greatest area), and has a very nice, spirited, and upbeat campus. The school only feels big that first week of your freshman year but doesn't remain that way. You will quickly feel right at home. Lectures are nearly always interesting and done by brilliant, open-minded professors. The campus also features a wonderful degree of diversity where any student of any background can feel accepted. The research opportunities are also an amazing asset to your education.
