Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
This School offers one of the best engineering educations in the US. But plan on studying hard because it definitely won't be easy. Homework and study sessions DO help. Plan ahead carefully and arrange time effectively in order to do well here. Mines' faculty are experienced in their field and are quite helpful. The students are, for the most part, friendly but not outgoing. We don't party much here (we don't even get the federal holidays off…what's up with that?). Nevertheless Denver is only 15 minutes away and there's always plenty to do there. The School makes things hard for out-of-state students (tuition costs and all) but it makes up for a good education and a job guarantee with much higher pay than the average starting salary. Overall, I love this School. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else.
