My brother studied there. He said that this school is pretty good, with a high level of teaching |
I studied to be an artist and was sure that I would always paint on canvas. Very funny. In short, I recently bought a huion h420 about which I read on the site topchartex website , there is a full description of this tablet for drawing. You can see for yourself if anyone needs it. |
Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
MSOE has great academic exposure, but a great college experience has to involve other aspects as well. My biggest reservation however is on its name. The name of MSOE is greatly respected in the WI/IL/MN area but the name of your alma mater will stick with you and grace your resume forever. This can be a problem if you are not restricted to this geographical area, e.g. graduate school applications or job assignments overseas. Basically, if you are geographically ambitious, you should not have to always explain what MSOE is, or that you went to school in WI/Milwaukee and that it is neither UW or Marquette!I have received a first-class education at MSOE but would not choose it if I had to do it over for three reasons: 1. The name MSOE is not a "state flagship institution" that I can carry with me anywhere in the age of globalization, 2. College experience should include things like NCAA football, beautifully manicured strolling grounds, and WOMEN, and 3. Tuition rate levels are simply not worth it.
