The quality of the education you get at Cedarville, like nearly every university, is directly related to how much effort you put into your experience. Spend extra time in the library or online researching what you're covering in class, and you'll be doing more to prepare yourself for grad school than any professor can do for you.

Once in a while, get out of the university and get a job away from Cedarville in a non-religious setting. Too many people I went there with ended up becoming content in their bubbles and were shocked when they were finally forced out into the "real world."

Although I found the quality of the education I got at Cedarville to be excellent, one of the downsides of the university is that differing views are often either ridiculed or not addressed at all if they do not conform to a particular worldview or interpretation of scripture. If you don't truly understand the opinions the rest of the world holds, you can't be very effective in it. It's perfectly possible to spend some time studying other views and why people believe what they do, but I had to put some effort into it, as it wasn't a regular part of the majority of the 60+ courses I took when I was there.
