I really love it at virginia tech. i am on break right now and honestly can't wait to go back to school. i honestly dont know anyone that doesnt like it here and i know a lot of people. i find the negative comments below to be pretty ridiculous in the fact that if you are in engineering anywhere you should be expected to work a lot more than everyone else. i recognize that fact and know that spending some extra time is neccessary for my major. all of the professors i've had are great and my T.A's have taught very well since they get reviewed by the students. social life is great here i still find a way to go out and party every weekend even with the mass workload. but i'm not fully concerned with getting a 4.0 because i've heard from alumni that coming out of here with a degree is a sure well paying job regardless of gpa. anyways there really is no reason to not like this place, its almost perfect in a way.
