CSI helped me through the mind boggling circuit of obtaining my State Certification in NYS. They met with me, advised me and submitted my credentials. The education courses prepared me for my job however the real preparation comes when you stand in front of the classroom. You can learn theory, technique and expertise in your discipline, but classroom control comes with experience. In my observation, the student teachers I observe from CSI seem to be the best prepared and the best "classroom control" savy. Social life is not the reason one chooses CSI. People attend classes and then go home. It's just that simple.
