If you are considering a Michigan education, there is one thing to remember—It is what you make it. I am a senior and I have seen firsthand the difference. There is a gamut of people here from the 1600 SAT / rich Long-Island type to the "I got in because I'm a Kinesiology major" type. What determines if you will get good grades at such a large University is if you are active about meeting Profs (for recommendations) and active in the community. You have to push yourself to study and join student Orgs. If you do these things you WILL get goods grades and develop "aMAIZEing" alumni networks. Michigan is a big school and has a lot to offer, but its only for the self-motivated.
