Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
Basically, you get a great education, but at a pretty steep price. They monitor almost everything you do, there is no "free will" involved…you do what they tell you or you are out. When you go home from college and you have to tell people things like you have to be fully dressed in order to leave your room and walk 4 feet down the hall to the water fountain, or that you got sent back from registration to change because you were wearing sandals with a divider between the toes, you are going to get some funny looks. Another minus, which you are not informed about in the education program, is the fact that you can only work in a Christian school…because you have a non-accredited degree, and getting certified to teach in a school other than a Christian school is a nightmare if you don't have an accredited degree. Simply because you have to have an accredited degree or experience teaching, and you can't get the experience teaching because you don't have an accredited degree. Make sure you ask LOTS of questions and talk to anyone who you know is there…make sure it is the place for you.
