Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
Your experience at UCLA is what you make of it. If you want to make things happen, you have to MAKE them happen… no one holds your hand and leads you to success. You have to be actively involved in your own education in order to make it at UCLA.However, once you decide what you want to get out of it and work toward it, you'll find that UCLA is an incredible place to learn. Faculty are welcoming and helpful (just go talk to them during office hours!), classes are challenging and encourage critical thinking rather than rote memorization, and there are many resources (libraries, computers, etc.) available to help you with research, etc..In addition, the campus is beautiful, there are many places to go and quietly study, social life is pretty happenin', and there are many opportunities to get involved in either the school community or in important causes. What you get out of UCLA is up to you. And I loved that.
