Hello, I'm pursuing a CS major and I noticed that your roommate wasn't able to get in. Did he eventually get in or did he have to switch to something else? This worries me because I've been accepted to other schools into the program already. And I don't want to take all the pre-reqs to get denied from CS.Thanks in advance. |

Major: Chemical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
It's what you would expect from the state university. I would expect that the academics will be getting better next year, but for now I wish I would have spent the extra money to go to some of the more difficult universities I was accepeted at. It is somewhat frusterating when classes in my major are too full at the beginning to get a spot but by mid-term are only half-filled. Also, athletes get first pick of classes, and my on-campus job is to tutor some of the half-wits who struggeled to get the required 900 SAT. I guess I'm saying I came in with high expectations that weren't fulfilled. One thing I haven't had trouble with but some of my friends have is being denied access to their prefered major. My roommate wanted to do CS, and has taken all the required courses, but can't get in to the major. That just sucks. However, the social life is good here, and Seattle is a wonderful place. Overall, it'll do.
