Western Michigan UNiversity is not a school i would recommend to anyone. The only reason I would choose Western is if it has a decent program in the major that you want to study. Majority of the staff inside smaller colleges are wonderful. The students are horrible, some are friendly at times. Majority of the students lack morals and values. They will be kind to you at first, then they will dog you out. People are using hard-core drugs. ( meth, cocaine, heroine). A good handful of female students have been raped in the past year. There is constant fighting and shooting. Kalamazoo is a crappy city.

The school is full of cliques and groups that will remind you of highschool. They charge an obsessive amount for any service you can think of. President BAILEY is a pain in the rear. Dont get a job on campus if you are on your way here, especially at the WMU annual FUND. They are a bunch of power hungrey students who are on a power trip. The academic advisors usually are to busy or to incompetent to help you and you will often take incorrect classes if you dont double check thier "work".

THE PROFESSORS ARE GREAT!!!!!( for the most part) outside of academics WMU's environment will haunt you.
