I don't tell too many people to come here for CS. Your life at the school is very different depending on your major, so I can't comment on what it's like as another major. The reality is that the school is a great theory school for CS but isn't that great for more applied areas - such as systems. It's a great school if you want to do research. Also, if you come here - you have to know that you have to bring it on a regular basis. Floating through just won't cut it - the people that make it through aren't necessarily the smartest, but they are the hardest working.

CS undergrads tend to be more antisocial than other engineers, though you can always find a social crowd in CS if you'd like - as long as you're somewhat nerdy.
