Northeastern is the best college environment that I could have asked for. The proximity to Boston excitement, the beautiful campus, the diverse student body and the range of things to do in and around campus is amazing. Even if you never went to class, attending the university for a year would be invaluable in you education as a person.

That aside, my in-class educational experiences have been mixed. All of my professors are clearly highly intelligent - some of them just can't convey their thoughts to you as clearly as others. However, every class that I have taken has been worthwhile, some just took a little more self-teaching than others.

THE NETWORKING IS INVALUABLE!!! Whatever lacks from an individual teacher is made up tenfold with the opportunities you have to meet people, both through co-op and just at on campus functions. I am a first year student and I got to sit down with a CEO, CFO and COO (all NEU grads)from a Fortune 500 company (TJX) and have a casual conversation with them for half an hour. Next year I could easily get a co-op job with them. An upperclass friend of mine is on one now, getting $14.50/hour!

If you are a "go-getter" who seeks connections in the marketplace, and an education that teaches you relevant, real-world information - Northeaster should be on the top of your list!
