I actually graduated with a Paper Engineering degree, but very similar to Chemical Engineering. In the paper industry, WMU is well-known. The program offers many scholarships and has high job placement and starting salaries. I think Kalamazoo is a great city and I had a lot of fun there. I think it's just the right size—not too big of a city where the university isn't a big deal, but not too small where there's nothing to do off-campus. I encountered several foreign professors that had a hard time speaking english, and that was in a variety of subjects: math, history, economics, computer science, and my major classes.

I was in a sorority and definitely recommend it. It's a great opportunity to improve your leadership and time management skills. In so many of my interviews I have used examples from when I was president.
