Read your UW review. Is the Out of state tuition worth it? especially for an undegrad? |
Major: Interior Design (This Major's Salary over time)
Coming from out of state, I was scared that I might not be able to mesh well with the other students, but this is not the case at all. Every one here is really friendly if you're friendly first, and the teachers are friendly enough if you make the effort to seek them out. The dorms aren't great, but it's fine because it's just a lot of fun hanging out with friends in the dorms. Seattle is a great city and I found that there was a lot to do there. The academics are good and it's a good school to be from. As far as feeling like an individual, if you just sit back and doing nothing, that will probably be true, but you just need to be more outgoing. Parties and games are so much fun and its great to be from a school that has so much school spirit. It's a great way to meet people and it makes this big school seem like more of a close-knit community. That's about it! Enjoy UW! It's a really great school. You won't regret going!
