The University of Washington is a great place to go to school if you are a self starter and motivated. It is not for those who want to be handed an education, if you are willing to work hard and put time and thought into your school work you will be successful. There are some great clubs and organizations that you can become a part of. The Greek system is really cohesive (I'm not a part of it) and the dorms provide and opportunity to get to know people as well. The FIG (Freshman Interest Group) program is what really helped me to become better acquainted with the school, city and students. So when you become an incoming freshman SIGN UP FOR A FIG!!!!
