Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from FSU a long time ago (1993). FSU is a big school and suffers from its lack of support vs. its better funded sister school UF. Nonetheless, in many areas it does better than UF. The civil engineering department is small, friendly (and continues to do so), the professors were accomodating and try to do their best with limited resources. While not a Georgia Tech, expect to work hard. Engineering is hard and it should. One low score is the inability of some professors to clearly speak english but that is everywhere. Socially, FSU is hard to beat, whatever you are into you will get in. Beautiful women everywhere -except in engineering. I stayed in Tallahassee and have prospered. Great place to raise kids and one of the top 50 midsize cities to live in the US. What else can one ask for?
