The undergraduate education at Mudd is undoubtedtly one of the best (if not THE best) programs in the country. If you're going to school purely for the academics and the education, I can't think of a better place. The workload is extreme and challenging, but it will make you stronger.

If you're going to school to "learn about life" and to "learn who you are", then you should probably reconsider going here. You will spend so much time holding your breath with your head down trying to get everything done that you will likely forget about these goals completely. If you can't handle high levels of stress or don't like deadlines, don't even think about coming here.

The social life at Mudd is "okay", meaning that you will probably find a few people that you enjoy hanging out with. The parties are phenomenal given the size of the school, but keep in mind this is no Santa Barbara.

Think VERY carefully about why you're considering college and what you want to get out of it. If you fail to do this, you'll be sorry …
