Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
A degree in political science and a minor in Business from VU has served me well both in business and my personal life. VU offers a wide range of classes and I found that by taking advantage of this diversity the cost of my education was more than justified. Yes there are a lot of happy white upper middle class kids at VU but happy is good as far as I'm concerned. I recently visited my son who now attends UCLA and there is a greater ethnic diversity there but simultaneously there is a common fabric of tension and competitiveness. There are a lot of tense kids on that campus. College should be a good time in your life and I think VU is more capable than most campuses at providing that chance. If you don't believe me just try calling a few other admissions offices and see how hard it can be to talk to a real live person. Not to mention one who is capable and friendly.
