Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
There aren't many bad things I can say about Villanova. I love it here. With a really beautiful campus and friendly student body, the social life is nothing short of awesome. Although you won't find raging protests, Villanova students are involved and aware. TONS of speakers come to Villanova and lectures and workshops constantly being held. The English department (my major) is very stimulating and thought provoking. My classes are hard but not overwhelming. Most of my professors have been excellent. They are also available often (Professor availability is a huge Villanova ideal). Another thing I love about Villanova are the relationships I have made. The Villanova campus has tons of different activites and students are not too cliquey, since there is an effort to have connections between them the different clubs, teams and organizations. I have friends in sororities, friends on sports teasm, friends involved with Peace and Justice, friends in College Democrats, friends in College Republicans and Engineering friends and Business friends. We all get along. In fact, we all learn a lot from eachother.I would suggest that if you are a prospective student looking for a medium sized University in the Mid-Atlantic, Villanova should certainly be on the list of schools to visit. Sure Villanova isnt right for all students, but what schools is? VIllanova has one of the highest retention rates in the country, so most students love it. Villanova was on my list of schools. I came to tour and fell in love with it. I have continued to find new things that impress me everyday. I meet new people and still keep in touch with old friends. I love it here and my friends do too. Dont take my word for it, see for youself.
