Academics are pretty good, but there are a lot of foreign professors who are hard to understand. WPI's social life revolves around frats and drinking, so If you aren't into that kind of stuff, I wouldn't come here. As for things to do off campus, there really is not much to do in Worcester, so the best bet is to go into Boston. The male/female ratio here is really off (something to the extent of 75% male 25% female), so guys, if you want to meet/hook up with a lot of girls in college, this is not the place. Girls, if you want to meet lots of frat guys and some other "interesting" types of guys, you may like it here. If you're not interested in CS or engineering, I wouldn't recommend coming here.
